EventHero (Pty) Ltd is a South African company that operates an online ticketing platform allowing users to browse, register for, and purchase tickets to events, and enabling organizers to create and manage events.

You must be at least 18 years old or have the consent of a parent/legal guardian to use our services. By accessing the Platform, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
You agree to provide accurate and complete information.
You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Ticket Purchases and Refunds

4.1 Purchasing Tickets

All ticket purchases are subject to availability.
You must review all event details carefully before purchasing.
Prices are in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT where applicable.

4.2 Refunds and Cancellations

Refund policies are determined by the event organizer.
EventHero will only issue a refund where instructed by the organizer or in accordance with applicable laws (e.g., event cancellation).
Booking fees and transaction fees are non-refundable unless required by law.

5. Event Organizer Responsibilities

If you are an event organizer:

You are responsible for your event's content, pricing, ticket terms, and refund policies.
You warrant that you have the legal rights and authority to host the event.
You agree to comply with applicable laws and EventHero's organizer guidelines.

6. User Conduct

You agree not to:

Use the Platform for unlawful, fraudulent, or malicious purposes
Misrepresent your identity
Post or transmit harmful, defamatory, obscene, or offensive content
Interfere with or disrupt the Platform's security or networks
Attempt to scrape, copy, or reverse engineer our services

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform, including logos, text, software, graphics, and trademarks, are owned by or licensed to EventHero. You may not reproduce, modify, or distribute any content without our prior written consent.

8. Privacy and Data Protection

We respect your privacy. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for information on how we collect and process your personal information in accordance with POPIA.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

EventHero provides the Platform "as is" and "as available".
We do not guarantee that the Platform will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted.
We are not responsible for the conduct, quality, or delivery of third-party events or services.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, EventHero is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless EventHero, its employees, and affiliates from any claims, losses, damages, and expenses arising from:

Your use or misuse of the Platform
Your breach of these Terms
Your violation of any law or the rights of a third party

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users via the Platform or by email. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
